In the Community

• Through our InConcert residency, we worked with the Marlborough High School Wind Ensemble over the course of 2 school years to learn about the composition process. We commissioned composer Cody Forrest to write Lux Arcana that was performed by the Cochran Wrenn Duo alongside the MHS Wind Ensemble as the culmination of the residency. We are grateful to all the individuals and businesses who supported this initiative.


• Chamber Music MetroWest children's concerts have reached over 1200 kids and familes in the MetroWest area. The children's concerts are presented twice yearly in March and November at David French Music Company in Westborough, MA.


• For our March 7, 2015 Children's concert, we collected food and monetary donations that were delivered to the Westborough Food Pantry.


• 1,140 pounds of food donated to the Marlborough Community Cupboard from Chamber Music Metrowest's Inaugural Concert thanks to monetary donations from audience members, bake sale proceeds, a portion of the CD sales and a $25 gift certificate from Price Chopper. Thank you to everyone who made this possible! It was definitely a joint effort from Chamber Music Metrowest, Enosis-Philoptochos, Sts. Anargyroi, Price Chopper and our amazing audience members.
